STEWART RHODES erved as a US Army paratrooper, and is a disabled veteran (airborne long range reconnaissance unit, disabled in a parachuting accident while doing rough terrain parachuting on a night jump). His occupations have been:

**  Served as volunteer fire-fighter in Montana.
**  Yale Law Graduate, 2004. Yale Law research scholar. Assisted in teaching US military history for Yale history department.
**  His paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” (on the Bush Administration applying the laws of war to U.S. citizens) won Yale’s award for best paper on the Bill of Rights.
**  Worked on Washington D.C. staff of Congressman Ron Paul, 1998-99.
**  Clerked for Arizona Supreme Court, 2004-2005.
**  Worked on 2008 Ron Paul presidential campaign. Served on Nevada GOP platform committee for 2008 Nevada state convention.
**  Founder of Oath Keepers, 2009 (association of military, police, firefighters, EMS - 40,000 members at its peak).  Stewart is now rebuilding Oath Keepers.

Mr. Rhodes is an Innocent J6 political prisoner - didn't enter Capitol, didn't fight with police. Oath Keepers was doing volunteer security for two permitted rallies on Capitol grounds on J6.

Stewart refused to plead guilty to a crime he didn’t commit, refused to bear false witness against President Trump and maintained his innocence throughout his "D.C. show trial". He stayed 100% loyal to our country and to President Trump - even after being sentenced to 18 years. He served 3 years in prison including over a year of solitary confinement (including pre-trial).

His sentence was commuted by President Trump on Jan. 20, 2025. On May 21, 2026, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals vacated the judgments of conviction for Stewart and his co-defendants and remanded their case back to the D.C. District Court for dismissal of the underlying indictments with prejudice. Stewart is waiting on that court’s order to finally restore all his rights.

Stewart is highly experienced in disaster relief - Oath Keepers did fourteen major hurricane relief missions, starting with Hurricane Harvey in 2017. In the aftermath of the tragic July, 2025 flood in Kerrville, Texas, Stewart worked with "Doc" Pete Chambers and his men, doing search and rescue, and  recruited and organized over 100 relief volunteers, leading teams for three weeks in the Hill Country.
